The Seventh Annual

CAMS Yard Sale

Chesapeake Area Metalworking Society

WHAT:

A yard sale of metalworking machinery, tools, gadgets, and whatever related to all aspects of metalworking as a hobby. This is not only a chance to examine and purchase items, large and small, but also a chance to meet and greet others who are interested in the hobby. Everyone is welcome to come by, meet fellow hobbyists, and hunt for bargains.

This year the sale will be on the grounds of the Tuckahoe Steam and Gas Association. The Mid Atlantic Blacksmith Association will also be having a show at the same time. This sale is free but the Blacksmith Association does charge for some of their demonstration events. Some of the food vending booths at Tuckahoe will be in operation.

This event is being coordinated by Jerry Tuwiner and the Tuckahoe Steam and Gas Association.

Steve Stallings hopes to resume hosting a fall social/yard sale for CAMS members in the fall of 2008.

WHAT IS FOR SALE:

In past years we had milling machines, lathes, a surface grinder, a shaper, drill presses, and untold amounts of small stuff, books, and general junque.

Let us know what you are bringing to sell and we will list it here! Though this is not an exhibition, you can also bring stuff just to show if you like.

WHEN:

Saturday the 8th of September 2007

The yard sale will start at 9:00 A.M. and vendors can start setting up at 8:00 A.M.

WHERE:

On the grounds of the Tuckahoe Steam and Gas Association near Easton, Maryland. For more information see:
